OUR HISTORY
THE STORY OF ANGEL M RANCH
It all began in 1890, with Peter Boyce.
Peter Boyce struck a significant vein of silver in Park City. Without the means to develop it himself, he sold the claim to a mining company and used the $30,000 he earned to purchase 120 acres in the Provo River bottoms. That land became the largest dairy farm in Utah County, producing alfalfa, sugar beets, wheat, potatoes, and corn for silage for the cows.
Peter’s grandson, Garth Boyce—our Grandpa—and his wife, Virginia, carried on that legacy. Blake
had the privilege of growing up on this land alongside his parents, Gary and Vicki Matthews, and his siblings.
Today, we are honored to live on the last 15 acres of
that original farm. Our grandchildren are now the
seventh generation to call it home, and their favorite place on earth.
We feel a deep responsibility to give back, knowing the sacrifices our ancestors made to preserve this land for future generations.
